Due to the tropical origin of the plant we must remember to water it regularly. We choose the amount of water depending on the size of the plant and its pot remembering not to overdo it. The soil should be moist but not wet. During the rest period in winter, water the plant less frequently. We should use „soft” water for all houseplants – it can be rain water or at least tap water left in an open container over night to reduce the chlorine level.
